Ways We Serve:

Maria Joseph Living Care Center

CCS volunteers provide the elderly residents with goodies and gifts at Teas and Bingo throughout the year.

Meals for Mothers

Dayton Right to Life has an educational program (Promise Your Baby) that teaches expectant mothers how to make healthy choices during their pregnancy.  CCS members provide nutritious meals for each session of classes.

Oak Tree Corner

The Oak Tree Corner provides a safe and caring community where children from the greater Dayton area learn to deal with grief from the death of someone significant in their lives.  CCS members offer support by providing dinner to the young participants.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

CCS volunteers knit or crochet prayer shawls that are given to members or their relatives during a difficult time, such as an illness, surgery or death.

The Glen at St. Joseph

The Glen is a privately funded residential home for single mothers, who are dedicated to improving their lives and the lives of their children.  CCS members provide various services, i.e. babysitting, helping in the Glen Mart and at parties.
